OUR STORY

THE DAYS SUSTAINABLE APPAREL is the 1st private label, sustainable apparel storefront in all of New Jersey! The brand encompasses a collection of consciously curated styles for the contemporary individual. The owner studied apparel design at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Post-graduation, after years of working as a fashion designer in the NYC fashion industry for brand names such as Jones New York, Club Monaco/Ralph Lauren and designing various accessories and apparel for brand profile including DVF, Vince Camuto, Betsey Johnson, Steve Madden, BCBG - we were ready for a change. The brand name originated organically, extracted through an introspective thought process of making the days count - both individually and ethically. Derived from the elements of minimalist design, luscious color and repurposed materials, The Days is a brand you can wear kindly. Each piece is infused with a sustainable edge, crafted from plant based fibers (bamboo, hemp, wood pulp), upcycled (vintage terrycloth, beach towels, production scraps) and/or recycled nylons. We are a vision for the man and woman who place sustainable practices at the forefront of their daily lives. We aim to make a difference, designing with purpose and considering the future of our delicate environment.

When designing for The Days, we can put a face to all of the New Jersey/U.S. based artisans that work alongside us to craft the garments that curate the brand. Working with local factories and suppliers as equals is what makes The Days so special. We hand source only the best fabrics, trims and packaging that align with the brand misson - to remain and sustainable as possible, and stylish at the same time. We quote - "What's really cool are those talented individuals that I work with on a weekly basis become friends. They inspire me and vice-versa. When work becomes fun - and is ethical at the same time - it's a win-win."

Wear beautifully, make your days count.
